Financial Horizons is a "long-term" contributor whose donations over a 5-year period will be applied directly toward sponsorship of a boardroom.
The complex -- to be located at Hanson and Ardelt Avenue adjacent to St. Mary's High School -- will feature a twin ice pad with seating for 800 spectators, 12 dressing rooms, concessions, a pro shop, a four-lane indoor walking track, boxing ring and will be a permanent home for the Kitchener Minor Hockey Association as well as the Waterloo Regional Boxing Academy.
Waterloo Rotary Club – Golf "Fore" Kids Ability Classic - May 10th, 2007
The Rotary Club of Waterloo is a proud sponsor of the 6th Annual Golf “Fore” KidsAbility Classic on May 10th at Grey Silo Golf Course. Our support is for the on-going services of KidsAbility and the Bill Herzog Endowment Fund at KidsAbility.
This particular date was designating as a day in memory of Bill Herzog, a highly valued friend of KidsAbility Bill who passed away August 7, 2005. He left behind a legacy as a caring and dedicated contributor to many organizations in this community. One of his wishes was for an endowment fund to be established at KidsAbility in his name and this endowment carries on as a fitting tribute to a remarkable individual. Last year our Golf Classic raised $20,000 for on-going services at KidsAbility and $27,000 for the Bill Herzog Endowment Fund.

Family & Children’s Services Annual Tree of Hope
The 96.7 CHYM FM Tree of Hope campaign, held in December, is the Foundation's signature fundraising event. The event's rise in popularity is reflective of the increased support we have seen from the local community; helping to build a community that truly values and cares for children.
Financial Horizons cares and was a sponsor for the 2006 Radiothon which is a two-day broadcast from the 96.7 CHYM FM mobile unit in front of Kitchener City Hall. The Radiothon provides opportunities for public education about the needs of children in our community, for public participation in the campaign and donor acknowledgement. Live broadcasts include on-air participation by youth in the care of Family and Children's Services, foster parents, agency staff, volunteers, board members, city mayors and others who can tell the story of how these services make a difference to children, youth and families of Waterloo Region.

Financial Horizons was a Platinum Sporsor in the annual charity golf day, Monday June 19th, 2006, which raised $12,450.00 for "Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade (WICC) for use in and support in their fight against cancer.

Preston Highschool
Preston High School's Athletic program is extremely proud of the success of their athletes both on and off the field. Their teams have experienced WCSSAA Championship success and their athletes serve as wonderful ambassadors of their school in the Community.
This year, they mandated a goal of providing a premier plaing facility where the Preston community can gather to celebrate and support athletics.
Financial Horizons participated in this important "Field of Dreams" initiative by providing the scoreboard for the new field.
